Cookie Policy
Effective 11 April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Soarlax uses cookies and similar technologies (like localStorage) on soarlax.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser by the websites you visit. They let a site remember things about your visit — whether you are signed in, which preferences you chose, and so on. Soarlax also uses browser localStorage, which works the same way for the purpose of this policy: your browser stores a small amount of data on behalf of the site.
2. What Soarlax uses
We keep this minimal. Soarlax does not use advertising cookies, and we do not embed third-party marketing trackers on the site.
Strictly necessary
- Authentication session. When you sign in we set an HTTP-only cookie that identifies your session. Without it you cannot use your dashboard.
- CSRF and security tokens. Short-lived tokens used to prevent cross-site request forgery and replay attacks.
Functional (stored in localStorage)
- Currency preference. Key
soarlax-currency. Remembers which display currency you picked so we can format fares in it next time.
Operational
- Error and performance telemetry. We run Sentry to catch bugs. It may set a short-lived cookie to group related errors from the same session. Data is pseudonymized and used only for debugging.
Payments
- LemonSqueezy checkout. When you upgrade, you are sent to a LemonSqueezy checkout page that uses its own cookies to process the payment. Those cookies are governed by LemonSqueezy's own privacy and cookie policies.
3. Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you block the strictly necessary cookies listed above, the signed-in parts of Soarlax will not work. You can also clear thesoarlax-currency key from localStoragein your browser's developer tools; we will simply fall back to the fare's source currency the next time you visit.
4. Do Not Track
Because we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to disable. We honor the spirit of DNT by not running that kind of tracking in the first place.
5. Changes
If we add or remove a cookie, we will update this page and the effective date above.
